Blog #3 pg 108-109 number 36 and 38.

Hi everyone! Today I learned about segments congruence and properties of equality. So I will use segments congruence and properties of equality for show the value of the meaning and compare the conclusion of a deductive proof and a conjecture based on inductive reasoning.

Critical Thinking!Use the definition of segment congruence and the properties of equality to
show that all three properties of congruence are true for segments.

-Reflexive property of equality is the same as reflexive property of congruency AB=AB is the same as AB~=AB

-Symmetric property of equality is the same as symmetric property of congruency AB=BA is the same as AB~=BA

-Transitive property of equality is the same as transitive property of congruency AB=CD, CD=EF, AB=EF is the same as AB~=CD, CD~=EF, AB~=EF.

Write about it! Compare the conclusion of a deductive proof and a conjecture based on inductive reasoning.

-Deductive reasoning uses facts, properties and definitions to conclude a conclusion, while inductive reasoning uses observations to see a pattern.
Thank you for watching this posting and I hope this is help you to understand. Bye :)
- Thank You-

Critical Thinking, Write about it, and short responce

Pg 99~100

#35 Critical Thinking
- A biconditional statement is a statement that can be written in the form "q if and only if q"(true)
If a statement is biconditional then it can be written in the form"p if and only if q"(True)
- Converse: If a statement is biconditional if and only if it can be written in the form
"p if and only if q"(True)

#36 Write about it
- Angle bisector : a live or ray that divides an angle into two congruent angles.
If it is an angle bisector, then it is a live or ray that divides an angles into 2 congruent angles. (true)
- Converse : If a live or ray that divides an angles into two congruent angles, then it is an angle bisector. Because the converse is true, biconditional is true therefore the definition is a "good" to reversible.(True)
- Biconditional : a angle bisector if and only if it divides an angles into two congruent angles.(True)

#41 Short responce
- You will get a traffic ticket if and only if you are speeding.(False)
-Conditional: If you get a traffic ticket, then you are speeding(False)
-There are no only one reason to get traffic ticket by speeding.
-Converse: If you are speeding, then you will get a traffic ticket.(True)
-The conditional statement is False so biconditional is false.

CEREAL BOX

Hi everybody!! I'm cosmos. This is my first time to blog. I live in Saipan and I’m going to Mount Carmel School. My geometry teacher gave us to blog this project that topic is redesigning a cereal box.
I notice that inside cereal box, there would be chocolate cereal what I wanted small, rectangle, and light with has very many hole.
I didn't consider these packages to be environmentally friendly. This package is too big for carry. Even though inside were small than I thought.
I would developed new design of cereal box to reduce the excess packaging more strong and smaller.

These would help us to box more when we go shopping. Think about it, we always eat cereal in every morning but we had only one carrier to take it. The original cereal box has big volume. The small size of cereal box make us to take many.
The new design helps sellers to have more profits.

Lastly, I designed the cereal box. Original cereal box size are 20cm, 40cm, and 6cm. the surface area of this box are 2320 (20×40×2+40×6×2+20×6×2=2320). The volume of this cereal box are 4800(20×40×6=4800). Also volume is the size of cereal box. The new cereal box size are 20cm, 24cm, and 10cm. The surface area of new cereal box are 1840 and volume of new cereal box are 4800. That mean is these 2 cereal box has same volume, but new cereal box surface area decrease about 20 percent.
